Éva Baka is a recognised representative of the Hungarian environmental profession. She is an agricultural engineer, environmental engineer, water management technologist, communication and public relations specialist. She has been working for more than ten years as the head of the Drinking Carton Environmental Association to raise consumers’ environmental awareness. His tasks include organising the selective collection of beverage cartons in Hungary, public communication on selective waste management, and solving the problem of recycling beverage cartons. Previously, she gained experience in the corporate sector at Tetra Pak (10 years). Her corporate and NGO experience would be of great help in improving the functioning of KÖVET. Éva Baka has already served on the KÖVET Board between 1995 and 2005. At the end of 2022, she was unanimously elected as Secretary General by the General Assembly, and resigned from her position in January 2023, in January 2024.
