János Handó is an economist, tourism expert, managing director of the Katica Tanya Experience Centre in Patca, Mayor of Patca.

He graduated from the Janos Pannonius University of Pécs and studied in London.He has gained professional experience and knowledge in the coordination of national and international projects in the fields of complex organisational restructuring, tourism development, renewable energies, waste management and leisure centre management and development. He is result-oriented, open to the world, to new things, to innovative and unusual solutions.The Katica Tanya Experience Centre has been a member of KÖVET Association since 2014. It is a nature-based, active recreation centre that develops only attractions that do not consume energy or, if they do, produce it locally from renewable sources. “Our aim is that those who visit us leave a smaller ecological footprint than if they had gone elsewhere or stayed at home.”
