The Hungarian Sustainability Professionals Network (formerly GBA Network), the professional association of Hungarian sustainability managers, and KÖVET Association for a Sustainable Economy will continue their work together as strategic partners from January 2025. Under the agreement, members of the two organisations will be able to attend professional events organised by the partner organisations partly free of charge and partly at a discount. By taking this cooperation to a strategic level, the HSP Network and KÖVET Association also wish to demonstrate their commitment to working together, sharing resources effectively and supporting each other’s objectives in the field of sustainability.
“We have a long history of cooperation with KÖVET. The reason why we have started now, and with them, to form a strategic partnership for our community of sustainability professionals is that there is already a strong overlap between our members, while our activities and events complement each other very well”, said Gábor Lévai, CEO of Sustainable Business Academy Ltd.
Katalin Herner, Executive Director of KÖVET Association, said: “By working together, we are setting a good example for professional organisations. Professionals working in the field of sustainability form a very active community, we can say that we are a big family, where we teach and help each other for our common goal, a more sustainable world”.
