Gábor Harangozó graduated as an economist and environmental economist in 2002 from the then Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration. Since then, he has been working as a lecturer and researcher at Corvinus University of Economics and Business Administration, where his research interests include sustainability performance assessment, sustainability indicators and sustainable consumption.
His association with KÖVET dates back to the early 2000s and he has participated in several events. The Association’s publications at the time, “Money Through the Window”, which included case studies on the financial aspects of environmental good practice, provided useful input to its teaching and research activities. The relationship has continued since then, with one of KÖVET’s volunteers obtaining a PhD in 2024 for her thesis. He has been an active member of the editorial board and proofreading team of the journal Steps towards Sustainability and has published in the journal.
