Dr. István Pesti-Farkas, managing director of CAPEX TCO Kft., holds a degree in economics and previously taught sustainable finance at METU. He currently works as an energy procurement category manager at the Ericsson Group, where he is responsible for the corporate integration of sustainability and ESG processes. As regional procurement manager for Central Europe, he is also responsible for the indirect procurement of member companies. He volunteered for the “Love Project”
and represents the business services category in their sustainable procurement efforts globally. In 2025, he became an SZTFH-accredited ESG consultant and works as a consultant in the field of ESG
and sustainability at his own consulting firm, primarily for SMEs that may be subject to multinational companies’ supplier development programs and interested members of the KÖVET Association. His main focus is on the interpretation and practical implementation of the ESG regulatory environment: stakeholder mapping, materiality assessment, data collection and reporting structures, and the development of supplier questionnaires and risk assessment processes. He is also happy to assist in the development of Net-Zero targets and STBi reporting.
