The National Deposit Insurance Fund (OBA) is a Budapest-based, but nationally active, 25-member organisation that protects depositors through deposit insurance and has been providing compensation to depositors of failing credit institutions for more than 30 years, making it an important part of the financial stability safety net.
The OBA is committed to sustainable operations, with environmental and social responsibility as declared values in its Code of Ethics and an ESG strategy as part of its business strategy. We joined the KÖVET Association in order to complete the sustainability activities we started in previous years, to learn about best practices run by other organisations, to access professional resources provided by the Association and to obtain the Green Office certification.
Our aim is to create the conditions for carbon neutrality, while making our operations fully sustainable.
