Numerous publications have already been released on the topics of sustainability, environmentally conscious corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Here we highlight a few of them that may provide useful information for those interested in these topics. Some of these publications are available for purchase at the KÖVET office.
At the KÖVET office (1062 Budapest, Aradi utca 63), we provide access to the Association’s library on environmentally conscious corporate management and CSR, which contains both Hungarian and foreign literature. You can search for literature relevant to your topic in the attached Excel spreadsheet. Anyone may use the library’s collection on-site without registration.
Dr. Georg Winter – Green and Profitable
The author, Dr. Georg Winter, led Ernst Winter & Sohn—a manufacturer of diamond-cutting tools—for several decades; the company is widely recognized as a pioneer in environmentally conscious corporate management. The foundation for this is the Winter Model—a comprehensive system for environmentally conscious management—which has been gradually developed and implemented since 1972. The author is also a co-founder and president of BAUM, Germany’s largest association dedicated to promoting environmentally conscious management. He played a similar role until 2005 in the INEM (International Network for Environmental Management) network, which serves as an “umbrella organization” bringing together national associations for environmentally conscious corporate management.
