Erzsébet Ódor, chemical engineer, spent more than 30 years in the environmental, then EHS, and finally in an international position in the environmental organization of one of the most important pharmaceutical companies in Hungary, Chinoin – later Sanofi – Zrt. She has worked closely with professional organisations within and outside the industry, and is also a keen environmentalist in her personal life. He initiated the collection of expired medicines, which continues to operate successfully as a non-profit organisation. He has been an active member of the Environmental Subcommittee of the National Association of Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (MAGYOSZ) from the beginning, he was also a member of the National Environmental Council (2002-2017) and he was the national delegate representing the industry in the OFC working group responsible for the development of the BAT reference documents, organised by the EU IPPC office.
